It’s Time To Leave

Well.... we arrived in San Dimas Ca in December of 18 for my work assignment and we will be leaving after thanksgiving. We will be taking a month off work to travel slowly back home to Alabama so pending weather determines our routing.

Been working on some maintenance getting the truck and 5th ready to roll but today Its wheel bearing inspection/packing day. Inspection of the brakes and brake wiring.

I’m replacing the Curt with a BW Companion RVK3670 so it has a better positive jaw and better capacity vs the 16Q Curt I was sold when we purchased our 5th in 17.

Anyways getting pretty excited for taking a month off and just go where ever we can.

We live literally 15 minutes from San Dimas, in Upland. Have a safe trip and enjoy the trip.

I’ve passed you twice a day then on my way to Ontario and back.

Just purchased the Companion Slider, found a place that ships for free va UPS. Also ordered a set of axle bearings and seals for the trip. During repaying today I found a seal that was damaged from the factory and it did have some grease getting passed it, didn’t make it to the brakes so I got lucky I guess. Only did two hubs today and I’ll get the door side next weekend.
