The new 3750 (2012) vent passage in bay

One of our concerns with this 5th wheel was the heating vent in the largest storage bay. We are having the dealership build a protective cage around the venting anyone else notice this problem or have a better solution.
Thanks
Michael

I know, it's already a tiny basement, and then it has a duct going through it! I thought of some way to protect it, but that's about it. Maybe you can post pics of how they take care of it for you?

We have the same vent but as of yet, it has not been a problem I would also be interested in the solution you come up with.

My stuff is on either side of the vent tube and the stuff has never interfered with the vent tube. However, my fishing rods go behind the vent tube and are mounted to the wall. To prevent the fishing rod guides from hitting the vent tube, I installed three 3" plastic tubes to the wall using a strap and buckle. The strap is screwed to the wall and secures the tubes. Unhook the buckle and the tubes can come out for service behind the wall. The fishing rods go into the tubes and are protected and the vent tube is protected, as well. If anyone needs photos, please let me know.

My thoughts are to eventually use the proper size of plastic pipe with a 90° degree elbow to make the run through the basement. Of course this is down the list for now as there are higher priorities.

I certainly will post pictures when I see what the dealer has done.
