CG Recommendations for Quebec Area?

We are headed to Quebec in late August for a week. Any recommendations for a good CG? Am leaning to the Camping del la Joie CG. Looks like it's wooded but close enough to the city.

Had a book on Quebec with 25+ CG's to choose from. Some didn't take pets, some didn't have 50a.....narrowed down to 5-6 and the Joie CG isn't in the book.

Tough to know.....anyone have any good experiences with CG near Quebec?

Here's a shocker too: Apparently....you can't take your dog into the National Parks in Canada....wow! I guess they have their reasons but really am surprised.

Dont know who told you that dogs are not allowed in Canada's national parks, but that just isn't so! Had our dog with us in 2012 in both Jasper NP and Banff. Even took her up the tram in Jasper to the top of the mountain.

Camped near Quebec City some years ago. Have to say the French speaking Canadians who camped near us, as well as the campground staff, were very unfriendly. As soon as they figured out we were the visitors from the states, we got nothing but cold shoulders. Shame...it was a beautiful place to visit, and DW is a Canadian! Of course she is from Ontario, with British heritage, but still.

The Natl Park website says the following:

Domestic animals

In all the Québec national parks, pets are prohibited, except for guide dogs.*Condition and regulation

Must be limited to Quebec. And was that Quebec NATIONAL or PROVINCIAL? That might be the dif.

Yesh...looks like it is a Quebec thing.

Was looking into Jacques Cartier National Park northwest of Quebec City.
