I guess I didn't know that GM made a 1 ton SRW pick-up.And I don't care what he says the guy who said he could fit a dually into where a normal size car goes would never a dually in my garage and get another car in along side of it cause it won't fit unless he plans on destroying some part of the garage. I know duallys are more stable. But they won't fit in my garage and I hate scraping windows.
I measured EVERYTHING before I got my truck. The dually fenders clear by 3" a side. That's the easy part, the mirrors stick out an extra 1 1/2" past the dually fenders...leaving 1 1/2" clearance on each side. Kind of tight, especially in the dark!

We have no problem with the width in parking lots. The dually stays within the yellow lines, Barely..it is the length. We need about 1 1/2 spots in length with our CC,LB. We can also fit inside our 2 car garage at home, Rear bumper right against the wall and no room at all in front but the door will close and there is room between the truck and the Accord...(we do not keep it in the garage however)There are plenty of places we do not fit like some auto car washes and bank pull troughs We have seen single car garages that a normal car would have trouble fitting in. We will park in the north 40 with the rest of the big trucks if we have to..it is no big deal.
