Black and Gray tank cables on 2015 3440Rl

The black and gray cables to the tanks never worked for more than one or two dumps at the most. When I took the trailer back to my dealer I explained that this was at least the fourth time I have complained about this issue. Well they finally did a good fix. They removed both gray and black cables from both tanks, and brought a solid rod on the street side through the frame for the gray and on the curb side the same for the black. We never had any problems with the galley tank because it was a straight rod out the street side frame too.
My cost for the modifications was $00.00! Hopefully no more problems.

Now you only have to worry about someone pulling the handles at a rest area when you aren't looking. Devil made me bring that up. John

I can't live my life with a bunch of what ifs, I much rather know that when I am at a CG and need to dump, the damn things will work.

As indicated in previous posts, I got rid of the cables and modified to direct threaded rod cable pulls for my two gray and two black tanks. Well worth the Saturday afternoon I spent under the fiver. Not hard to do,

Couldn't agree more. That is exactly how I live.
