Circuitry?
Howdy all...
Coming back from our week-end outing at Lewis and Clark Lake yesterday (8/17), I tried to plug our 2850 into the electric at home. We didn't have any problems over the week-end, and I didn't have problems before, plugging her in at home.
Well, yesterday, I plugged her in, and the "RecCon" 15A circuit breaker tripped. I tried this at least 4-5 times, with the same results each time. I finally went to get my tester, and got 123.6V at the plug-in and at the end of the cord. Resetting the CB 'one last time', after unplugging the cord and checking all the fuses in the inverter (pulling them out and resetting them), this time it didn't trip.
Obviously, I'll have to monitor this going forward, but is there anything else I should be doing? Are there any wiring diagrams available? Any ideas as to what could cause this?
One potential issue I can think of is the air conditioner. If it's running, water is dripping right onto the receptacle. Could it be that water gets in creating a short, and once it dries, it's ok again?
Thanks. Alain.
