New old member

Last May we moved into our 2980RL Montana and began fulltiming. I had been a member of the forum, but haven"t had access to a computer til now. The forum has really helped choosing and living in our rig. We definately know our Montana is waterproof as we have had rain nearly everywhere we have been, from Alberta to California and Arizona. Going to put Rainmaker across the front of the trailer and see if anyone will pay us to break their drought. We got to Yuma a few days ago, and quess what, its raining! Oh well, we are enjoying our travels, and its cold in Alberta! We really enjoy our Montana and have had no problems with it. SMC

Welcome back, SMC. The forum has really grown and probably more active than when you were here last. Lots of good folks and good information. Enjoy! J.

Welcome Back to the MOC.
Can't imagine not having my computer for a week but 9 months?
Even with the rain it sounds like you have had quite an adventure. At least it was rain and not the white stuff.

Now that you have a 'puter let's not be a stranger.

Welcome, SMC! Good to have you back. The 2980RL is a sweet model, very similar to our first Montana, a 2880RL.

How about letting us know where you are headed so we can avoid the rain? Just kidding. Hope to run across you folks on the road one of these days or maybe at one of the rallies.

Welcome back fellow Canadians, it's cold in Manitoba tooooooo.
We hope to follow similar trails as yours when we finally retire in the next couple of years. Till then it is off to our seasonal lot come May 1. Enjoy your adventures and be safe!

If you brought rain to Yuma...you must be good!!! It does not rain there much but memory serves me right when it does rain it is a gully washer.
Welcome back.

Trukdoc, my memory may be faulty but did you just very recently get the '05 Ford? I know you had a Ford before but was thinking it was not the '05. Is my memory failing faster than I realize?

Welcome back. I hope it hasn't rained enough so that you have thought about trading your Monty in on an ark! Safe travels to you and yours.

Since we have never had a leak, wouldn't think of trading it off. Hopefully we'll never have to see if it floats! Yesterday it was sunny and beautiful, first time I've been able to wear shorts for a whole day in a year! Hope it lasts, we might even get a chance to use the airconditioniing!

Believe it or not Seattle is the place to avoid rain this winter. Most of the ski resorts are closed or only have limited access due to lack of precipitation. Last year we only had one day of rain when we were in Yuma for 3 months. Go figure. Happy travels.

Maybe we should swing through there! Now if we could only figure out a way to get paid for being "Droght Busters"! Weather forecast for Yuma is the next week, gues what, rain. Hope it holds off til tonight so we can get a round of golf in!!
