Handy stair entry light
Always getting home after dark, porch light off and often can't see the entry stairs and door locks. At Wal-mart, in the camping equip section, I found a $10 battery powered tent light (Coleman) with a very strong magnetic base. It is designed to be used with a metal strip outside the tent. The magnets clamp on to that with the tent material in the middle.
I found that the outside end of the steel support frame, near the entry door, has plenty of room to hold that light in both the extended and stowed position of the slide. Just look under the slide while it is retracted and you will see the space...about 9-12 inches long.
For use, just turn it on. It illuminates the whole stairway area and the door locks. No need to remove it to stow the slide or towing...I just ran it through 400 miles of different types of State and US highways, sopmpe pretty rough.
Hopes this helps someone get ahead of the P.P. Prior Planning situation..
