Cool deal thank you for pulling over for me as work is going strong and we have to make hay while the sun shines. Pomo is a great place to stay DW and I go there for weekend get aways. How long is your stay and are you going to try fishing while here the ocean came down today and I saw two party boats out front rock fishing. I live over the hill from you in Ukiah and am in ft. Bragg every work day hauling logs. Happy camping and good to see a member on the road I always look for members on the road.

We will have to remember that park in Fort Bragg for the next time we drive down to see our grandson. The little guy and his folks are staying at the KOA in Willits till they can find a more permanent place to live. Our daughter just started a new job in Booneville.

Can't believe having to make that run everyday hauling logs across Hwy 20. Made that trip last May, stayed at Caspar Beach for a long weekend. Only thing we should have done, was go back on that road to Hwy 101, instead of going north on Hwy 1 to get to Hwy 101. Anyone thinking about doing that, unless you have a 20 something foot trailer, DON'T The trailer actually drug a skid plate on one of the rear corners a couple of times making that run. I definitely didn't see any logging trucks on that stretch.

Most likely time of year is why you didn't see us out there we drive north hwy 1 every day as well as south hwy 1 to hwy 128 to cloverdale . I grew up here on these roads so I guess it's just second nature to me driving these roads we take our Monty up to Westport all the time and I know the turn you drug your Monty on well. It is tight up there. It's a great place to be and camp but the roads aren't for the weary. Logging is full swing now till November unless it rains we will be out there. Take care and happy camping.

Yes, it is definitely a beautiful area. We had to really keep our eyes open watching for vehicles coming from the other direction as we made some of those turns. Fortunately, there wasn't a whole lot of traffic.

You stated you stayed at Casper beach boy that's a old tight little campground I don't think this new 37&1/4 would fit there unless they have done some updates. But a cool place to camp we use to go there with or other brand smaller 5'er. Any time your in the area shoot me a PM maybe we can get over there at the same time. Or give you a heads up about what's going on in the area .

We fit in there just fine. We were set up toward the back end. Went over with DW's cousin and her husband and they have a 25 ft older MH. Couldn't quite get the awning all the way out, have vents stuck way high on the adjacent pedestals. Was still a nice location. Our rig is 39+ ft, so they do have some longer spaces, just not real wide.
