Adding Fantastic Fan or A/C

If we decided to add another Fantastic Fan by the shower (12v) or a front A/C (110v) where do you pull the power from? Would my 2005 Montana have electrical wires already in the ceiling?

Thanks

If you are already wired for a second AC than the wires should already be in place.

As far as 12V you will have 12 volt wiring running thru the ceiling reasonably close by.

We had a Fan-Tastic installed near our shower. Great addition.

But it was put in by one of the Three Stooges, it seems. He pulled a wire from the wires running down to the bathroom/bedroom 12V light switch to power it.

Seems he must have had the bathroom light ON at the time, (if he even had a voltmeter with him,) because we have to turn the bathroom light on before there’s power to the Fan-Tastic.

Not a major problem. I just haven’t taken the time to pop that shroud down and redo the power wiring. With the shroud off, wires must be literally “right there.”

Besides…It can’t be hard if “Moe, Larry, or Curly” could do it!

We added a Fantastic Fan in the bed room and got the power from the lights in that area that operate on 12 volts. It works great.

I added a Fantastic Fan in the vent outside the shower. I fished the hot wire to the 12v exhaust fan leads in the water closet. I spliced into those wires as close to the fantastic fan as I could. That wire is always hot. No need for the exhaust fan or light to be turned on.

On edit, it's been awhile..... is the FF 12v or 110v? Maybe it was the 110v lead to the light in the w/c that I spliced into. In any case, I got to the lead through the water closet vent and fished it to the FF opening. Sheesh, old minds....old memory.
