Bridgestone Duravis - Where are yours made?

Just checked on my newly delivered - yet to be installed Bridgestone Duravis R250s. Manufacture date of 36th week 2010. They are made in Japan. They sure do look a lot different (in a good way!)than the Goodyear Marabombs! I look forward to having them installed.

TireRack says JP (Japan) or US. They also say there is no guarantee where they will come from. What price did you pay Locally here they are priced at $212. Thats without the rebate.

I got mine at Costco. $919.00 Total out the door after the $60.00 rebate. This included mounting, balancing, new valve stems, nitrogen inflation, road hazard warranty and taxes.

My Duravis 500s were made in Japan...which is fine with me...$180 each plus all the fees.

Thanks Jay, no Costco near by priced them at Sears $1122.25 out the door that makes them $220. per tire and $60 each Delivery, mount, balance. Sears has to much over head for me.

So, it sounds like the cost for these tires is about the same as the G614s???? What are the load capacities for these tires??

They are only a E rated tire but are a steel cased tire that will work on stock rims. They run at 80 PSI.

The G614s were about $400 more in my neck of the woods. They were my 1st choice but since the Duravis 250s were also steel sidewall construction, have a good reputation and met my load rating requirements I went with them. I'm going to use the $400 I saved for mods!

I agree Jay My 2955rl weight 10500# with 2900# on the pin leaves me with around 3800# per axle. But I am going with Michelin X Radials I get the quality of Michelin's. Sam's Club is in area the X Radial sells for around $200 out the door.
