Improved Insulation

This project might have already been covered here, but I didn't find it. I do find it quite interesting.

http://www.trailerlife.com/cforum/in...d/16810176.cfm

I will be trying it.

Best Regards, Ted

Great idea, on the basement area thats easy the other will have to wait untill I have to pull the belly apart, and not looking forward to that.

Insulated the underbelly in our 2955RL as I heat taped, then foam wrapped the hot and cold pipes. I used 2" thick fiberglass with a foil backing for insulation. Using fiberglass makes it easier to put the underbelly back on. Also with the fiberglass I was able to lay it on the sides of the steel frame, we all know steel is a poor insulator. This gave me a chance to tighten all the pluming fitting, they all took at least 3 or more full turns! I will do the storage area with Tuff-R foam, with this I will wrap the pipe in that area also. I work construction and use the trailer on and off year round. Over Kill maybe frozen trailer probably not? See-Ya
