50 amp/30 amp cords?

I had two 30 amp cords with my previous 30 amp unit. Now I have a 50 amp unit. I kept one of the 30 amp cords.

My question is this. If I only had 30 amp available at campgroud, can I just plug in to the 30amp outlet using my old 30 amp cord or do I need some type of adapter for the back of my unit?
