1/2" pvc leaking

I have a 2020 Montana 3721 RL Legacy that has a 1/2" white pvc pipe with a screw on cap hanging down between the axels that is dripping
Anyone know what this pipe is?

On most Monty's a white tube with a screw on cap is the fresh water tank drain, although I thought the newer models had valves on them.

If it is hanging between the axles it likely is the ice maker drain. The fresh water tank drain is usually at the rear of the RV. It sounds like the cap is just loose.

I always found it strange that our 2012 came with a valve but the 2018 only had a screw on cap.

If you're asking about the pipe itself, it is actually PEX, not PVC. As stated above, the drain line is most likely for your ice maker on residential fridge. There should be another at the rear for the fresh water tank. I added a threaded valve on mine and removed the cap. You may be able to just tighten the cap to eliminate the drip.

I have a old RV 03 and I have the screw on caps. I removed mine to drain the system but found then difficult to remove. I put anti-seize on the caps and not I can take them off by hand. If your water system is leaking you can shut off the hose and turn on the pump in the unit. If the pump runs and you are not using any water than you have a leak on the pressure side of the water. if not than it's no big deal and like others said may be ice maker.

Mine is the ice maker drain. It was leaking after the first couple of trips, tightened it and no more problem.

If it's really the fridge drain, it shouldn't be capped, yes?

It's actually not the fridge drain, but the ice maker supply line drain. In order to protect it from freezing, the drain allows you to get rid of water in the line without removing the fridge itself.
