Repair Warranty

Does anyone know if there is a standard length of warranty on things that you have repaired like 12 months or 12000 miles.

Typically, if something is repaired under the original warranty, the length of the repair warranty is limited to the end of the original warranty unless they give you an extension in writing. If you replace something, like I replaced our water heater about four years ago, the warranty on the new water heater was two years, which is how long Suburban warranties there product. Anything else, you should receive something in writing stating the limits of any implied warranty on anything you have done or purchase.

The reason I'm asking is I had my 3820FK in for repair of the broken wall under the kitchen slide under warranty. The repair was extensive they had to remove the front cap the slide and peel back the fiberglass to do the repair. I took it in today for the annual inspection and have them fix the things that they missed like some caulking,wood trim that didn't get nailed and couple small things. They said only have 90 day warranty so I will have to pay to fix there poor workmanship.

The RV industry is still the wild west and many dealers have no moral compass at all.
