Selling our 2009 3665RE montana

Hello All

We are selling our Montana it is well used but not worn out.

We will probably not be back on here we have met number of grate people by being on this forum.

We picked up a 2016 Lifestyle that was in need of some TLC. So far the TLC has cost us about 10% of what I had estimated before we purchased. There is a lot yet to be done but so far so good.

The Montana is located in our front yard with a for sale sign on it. It will be interesting what an 11 year old Keystone brings on the open market.

Hi jimcol

So far have had only 3 offers one from a Dealer for $4,000 one from and individual for the same amount and on from an individual for $3,000.

I will dissemble it and sell of the equipment before selling the entire thing for those prices.

With this virus thing in full swing the traffic by my front yard is 10% of what it normally is.

I have a 03 and it's in great shape. Everything works. Interior looks very nice. I just waxed the outside and fixed a couple little things that were bugging me. It is a great RV. No way would I let it go for less than 8 grand. I could get many more years out of her but would like to step up to something newer. Mine is a great unit for someone wanting to get into RVing.

Good luck with your sale OP

Wow. I just went to RV Trader they had 30 2009 3665RE listed and prices ranged from 16K to 35K. Unless you're in rush to sell I'd certainly wait it out. I had offers of 4K when I had the 02 Cross Roads for sale last fall and early this spring and considered that really lowballing. It sold for much more 3 wks ago.

Hi

I just gave it away to a young man that has lost his apartment thru no fault of his own.

He and his wife and 2 children have decided they can live in it and they can afford the rent in one of our older RV parks.

They will meet me tomorrow evening after renting a place to put it and I will move it in for them.

Sorry I can’t give you guys any idea what I would have gotten for it.

It still isn’t free they have to pay the Florida sales tax based on Florida’s value of the trailer and the title transfer and tag fees.

That was an incredibly generous gesture and I admire you for it.

I can’t help but think the lack of decals affected your price offers. People see the plain white trailer and compare that to the beautiful units with full body paint or at least fairly elaborate graphics and likely look somewhere else. Eye appeal and first impression is a significant factor for most buyers even if pristine inside. Curb appeal is important.
