I use some large anti-sail mudflaps. They are about 1/4" thick and some kind of man made material that's stiff

Weathertech for front and rear tires. Sure keeps the road debris off the truck and trailer.

I'm with ECMS retired on flaps. Installed extra long SS weighted Duraflaps on my F-450. They are plenty wide, sit about 4" off the ground and are rigid being that they don't sail at all. They can do custom stainless steel logo artwork and have many in house designs available. I got the USMC Semper Fi artwork. Duraflap also make many of the full width flaps you see hanging behind class A's.

I just received my 2020 GMC Sierra DRW and put the Luverne Mud flaps on the truck a few weeks ago. Haven’t towed yet to see how well they protect the trailer, but like the look and heavy duty construction. Easy install, maybe 10-15 minutes each side. A little pricey, around $160 for the pair.

I just installed a hitch mount mud flaps on a 2020 3500 Chevrolet Silverado. The only problem I ran into was the exhaust came straight out the back so I went to B&W ordered a heavy duty exhaust extension turn down that works perfect. Reasoning being:it rerouted the reigin out from under the truck to the outside. If you notice on all commercial diesel trucks the exhaust goes up behind the cab and at the top there is an elbow that directs the heat from the exhaust. That elbow (exhaust extension) was the only thing I had to work with.
