Wineguard 360

Just wondering what everyone's opinion is of the wineguard 360 is and how well it works for them. When I do a channel search mine finds lots of channels but ends up with only a few to view and has trouble holding a good picture on several of those. Does not seem to work near as well as the old style crank up.

Had a similar experience and due to a mishap that we wont discuss, I made a switch and never looked back.

Honest opinion of the Winegard 360+ omni-directional antenna … it's about useless 2 months ago, while camping in our Jayco FW with a Winegard Rayzar Z1 directional, we were able to pick up about 12 OTA stations. At the same campground, 2 weeks ago in our new MHC with the Winegard 360+ omnidirectional antenna, we were able to pick up zero OTA stations

Now, before anyone says my Winegard 360+ was defective, I will say that at our house, I am able to pick up about 2 OTA stations, while the Jayco would pick up about 5 stations.

So, as soon as FedEx delivers my new King Jack antenna, I will be back in business

We had the King Jack OTA with the signal meter on a SOB 5th wheel. We really liked it. The Monty has the crank up and I would trade in a minute. I would swap but it looks like a lot of holes in the roof!

King Jack sells an adapter plate that is suppose to cover the holes you're referring to.

King jack makes an antennae to go on the crank up mast. That what I put on mine. No holes to deal with. Would this work for you?

The old crank up and the Rayzar Z1 are much better at picking up distant stations or those with obstructions between you and the towers. Most any directional antenna will always out perform an omni-directional antenna. The trade off is more stations but a little more work actually aiming the antenna at the towers. I'll take a directional every time.
