Ceiling FAN
I have NOT experienced the damage to fan that you have. My 353RL has similar layout in living area as yours. I have watched fan blade bump and spin away from slide as we run it in. Possibly have avoided the straight blade contact that could have broken ours like you describe. We saw this soon after New so we always observe and adjust when running slides in.
Fan blades can sag because of humidity so possibly flipping blades over may add some clearance. Mine being a 2017 and yours much newer I would not expect this to be your issue yet.
Good luck and look up until you find an answer.
