3670RL

Does anyone know if the queen size mattress can be replaced with a king size one in the 2005 3670RL? Also, do you know what the standard refrigerator size is in this fifth wheel? Thanks to all.

We see from the specification list that the 2005 Montana fifth wheel
3670RL only has a waste water holding tank of 38 gallons...is that sufficient for such a large unit? Our 31' Montana travel trailer has about the same size, and we thought the fifth wheel should be larger..
We stay in state parks a lot, and they do not have sewer there, so we need to have a tank that will hold waste water for 5 days or so...

You better get out the tape measure as even the new units can't take a full king unless its ramed in as the king montana uses is 72 x 80" and a true king is 76" x 80" so the true king is 4" wide as we are having a 72" king being made rite now as the mattress is no good thet comes in the units john

We accidentally ordered a queen mattress (or actually just neglected to specify a king mattress when we put our order in on our 2007 3400). We only had to order the new king mattress (w/ all the bedding - expensive) and cut a new, wider plywood board that we had to use for the base. Only need to have that wider base from the hinge to the foot of the bed. The base board under the front of the mattress on all Montanas is the same coming out of the factory whether they have a king or queen mattress. It's only the part that lifts up that is different.

We simply screwed the wider board on top of the existing one - didn't want to mess with trying to re-align those struts. Don't forget to cut the corners on the board so your vanity clears when the slide come in...

Standard in our 2007 3400RL is an 8 cu ft fridge.

Our 3670RL would not take a king mattress as there isn't enough room at the side of the bed for a king. The std. frig. is a 8 cu. ft.
Our black tank and grey tank will last us about 4 days with the three of us using the facilities. It all depends on use. If you can use a washroom facility in a State Park it shouldn't be a problem.

Ditto again what Bill said,

We go to state parks, 60 gallons of fresh water, use the rest rooms and showers at the park. We go 15 days with the 60 gallons of water, and that is with frequent guests who stay and eat a lot of meals with us, and with grandchildren there for 3 to 7 days.

These parks have 30 AMP electric, no water on site and a dump station.

You can do it! We know you can!

In our 3670 2001 we had to have it shorten 1 coil to fit right.
The matress store sent it back to factory and charge us $50.00. We had it in travel trailer before that.
