Purchase 2014 3150RL
Am looking at a 2014 3150RL to purchase. It has been used very little. One owner. Never covered. Roof looks good. Outside still looks good. My questions are, is this unit too old, other owners of this age unit have any special things I should look for on this model, would appreciate your help and comments. Thanks
Jim

Ours is 8 years older than that and still serves us very well. I don't think it is the age but more the care it has been given.

7 years certainly isn’t too old in fact I would say perfect. They take all the depreciation you get a nice camper. What could be wrong with that if it’s in good shape. Sounds like something I would or better still have done.

We made a 4500 mile round trip from Boise ID to New Caney TX in October 2020 to purchase a 2014 3402RL from a MOC member. We got the trailer we wanted. A really good inspection is warranted. My emphasis would be on the suspension, tires, brakes, slide operation and roof. good luck. Joe.

If you have the original tires on that camper, what we call China Bombs get them off before you use your camper. Tire blowout is always a big topic here or the biggest in the summer. Get a set of Sailun tires before you loose the side of your camper.

3150 rl
We have a 2013 3150RL and like it a lot. From what I have read with problems and workmanship issues on any manufacturers new units I’m thinking it was good move. I’ve done a few tweaks here and there but very impressed with the quality.
No regrets - great unit.

I would also take time to check the fuctioning of the appliances. Run furnace and AC units, the frig and the microwave and check the water heater and then drain it and see what comes out.
