Mine beef is when it's in the shop for something. Private shops seem to be a bit more lenient. I've never been to a dealership that allowed anybody in the service bay. And with things being the way they are I get it. Too many ways to get sued.

In my opinion a simple "Enter At Your Own Risk" sign should be sufficient to eliminate ALL liability.
Most of my purchased vehicles have been at dealers that we're more than obliged to put the vehicle in a lift so I can see the underside.
I bought a Cadillac years ago and had the dealer actually check the air in the spare tire. He stated in all his years of selling cars he's never had anyone ask that. I stated that's why you see cars on the side of the road with a flat tire and no one there. Because nobody ever checks that

I used to advertise in a small magazine Precision Shooting. There was a lawyer who wrote for the magazine that advised the small businesses not to carry insurance. He said if you didn’t have much, I plea guilty to not having much, the lawyers wouldn’t bother you because it wasn’t worth their time.
Don’t ask me if that is true. It’s above my pay grade.

If you must enter at your own risk then the shop knew they were negligent in making the shop safe . One million dollars please.

Here is a clear admittance that the truck is dribbling it's load. I actually lost a back window in an SUV by one blowing by me in the left lane while I was in the right lane slowed to turn right. Heard a loud crack and my back glass immediately spiderwebbed. No way to prove it so 100% came out of my pocket.

I have heard the same thing about a dog. If you put a warning about your dog you knew he was dangerous and should have kept him up.
You can’t win.

This is true. I'm the treasurer for a non-profit and our insurance carrier told us not to put our name on our mini van because when a lawyer sees that they see deep pockets. He said if we want our name there he suggested we increase our liability ins. to 10 mil. We have no name one our vehicle.

My wife has a cousin that was encouraged by a lawyer to sue her father for injuries after a car accident. In the end she got $1500 and destroyed her family in the process. The lawyer made out just fine.

BTW, my DIL is a lawyer, I only hate the ambulance chasers.
