Towing Issues

I had a Montana 2018 3921FB traded it in for a Montana 2020 3761FL, I had a moyride pin box on old montana the new one has a lippert Road Armor Trailair says it has pivoting head and control chucking as well on it. But seems I had more chucking this weekend pulling it than I did on old camper? Any reasons why. I have a ND 2500 Chevy Disel standard bed.

I have that same pin box on my 3700LK and it was chucking a tad at first, then I made I adjusted my fifth wheel hitch and it pretty much eliminated it. I pull with a 3500 DRW with a B&W hitch. I flipped the brackets to put more weight on the front.

As vendor coordinator over the last several years at the national Rally, I've been shocked by the number of members junking the new pinboxes and going with Morryde. Having never had anything but a Morryde I don't have any experience, but that is a fair amount of money to toss off a brand new rig so they must have thought it worth it.

Road Armor is just the new name for the Roto Flex with maybe the issue of the rubber block moving.
Several years ago there was a huge number of us at our SOB Rally that junked the Lippert Tri-Glide and went with MORryde. Would do it again in a heart beat.

Speaking of the Roto Flex, there was recently a recall due to that rubber block on some of the pin boxes. Doesn't appear to affect the one on my rig, but it's worth looking into.
