Had RvArmor install there roof coating system on March 24th it looks fantastic there warranty is for the rv is lifetime of my rv meaning if we ever sell it the new owners will be covered did a lot of research before doing this up grade as my roof showed it had short life left did not want leaks developing and cause lots of problems maybe a little premature i feel a lot better attached our two photos one before and one when finished I hope to be at this years rally in sept .

It added about 1/4 inch but only about 150lbs I liked that it didn’t add to much extra weight

I live in Jacksonville, FL and we have a dealer in Green Cove Springs about an hour away that does the RV Armor. I think it's their main office. Is this the same one you used? RvRoof.com? The reason I ask is that I was considering doing ours next year. It's a 2019 so the roof is good right now.

It's your money. Spend it as you wish. I'll just offer this. Our roof is now 14 years old and is still in good shape. Full disclosure the first 6 years it was stored in side when not in use. My point is these roof are really pretty good quality and made to with stand the elements. I'd just wash it a few times a year which gives you the opportunity to observe how well it is fairing. Then make your decisions based on those observations. There are always exceptions like us, but most people don't keep their RV's long enough to require a new roof.

A good amount of money , but in having the old one's life expiring, you shouldn't have to worry about it. I think it is a good investment, my .02.

Yes that is the 2020 price they told me so I opted to lock mine in last year with install to be done in march 2020 they will quote you for a 35ft roof even if your unit is longer and only charge that price as mine is listed as 37ft

We had ours done 2 years ago here in Denton Texas. 3 days and it was cheaper than the quotes I received to replace my original EDPM roof by $1,000. A limb had dropped on the EDPM and caused a 6 inch gash and since the ins will not repair that they total it. Just an FYI, I’m stripping off the loose old roof in places we found a pinhole that you could not see but certainly saw the water stain on the pressboard roof underlayment. If I had not replaced the roof it would have eventually rotted out and caused who knows what other damage. This roof will not have that problem and I do it have to climb up on the roof all the time making sure the seals are in good shape. Definitely worth the price and effort to do. If I ever get another new camper this will the first thing I do as I drive it home from the dealer.

Or you could do it yourself for a couple hundred bucks (instead of a few thousand) with Dicor's recoating system. I did mine in 2012 because the "white" pigment in the EPDM roofing seemed to be going away, leaving the roof more black rubber looking than white. It took 3 days (1 hours work each day) to clean and roller (paint) the roof with two coats. It still looked good when I sold it a couple of years ago. It was a 1997 trailer.

The trailer I have now (a 2003) looks like it has the same coating on it. And it looks good.

Thats interesting as i have seen roof coatings where they remove the rubber roof before coating. I hear also there installing rhino lining on roofs now.
