Pay someone else to do it. But on the serious side I am not sure I understand the real question.

if your 2020 doesn't have gen prep, then it's a bit more electrical work (transfer switch, gen on-off switch) and you need to order or fabricate the sheet metal shroud for a fire wall to separate the compartment from the batteries. With the gen prep, you just cut the floor in the compartment, add the gas hose off the supplied tee in the pass line, install a custom exhaust, and wire the gen 120V lines to the junction box in the front pass-through compartment and the wire the control switch. I relocated the factory located on-off switch from the front closet to the cabinet in the kitchen for convenience.

No it's not. My skill level is next to none but my husband undid the wiring that was in other trailer and exhaust piping. I jus wanted to know if it was something I should let a professional do or if he could. Mind you he is not an electrician

If it were me, I'd pay someone to do it. Too many things that if done wrong can lead to big issues.

Might want to let a professional do the installation. Even with Keystone technicians putting mine in at the factory they left some wire nuts lose in the junction box located in the main storage compartment. About burned my fifth wheel down when using the generator camping up in the mountains. If your husband was really handy then he could probably do it. As said before a lot easier if your new unit was generator prepped.
Happy roads to you.
