These things have got to flex a bit.If they were rigid they would snap like a twig. Bridges and buildings flex a bit.1/4 inch or so we are told is normal but popping staples etc is not.We had real frame flex twice on our 06 3400.Sure hope they beefed up the front on the new 12 inch framd models. Did not get to see one on the line at the rally.

BethandKevin ... the sheetmetal thunking sound you hear when walking into the bedroom may just be the heater ductwork (for no better name for it) under the flooring. It was on mine. There's a tin covered channel running up to the bedroom from the main floor similar to what's in your house's return air ducting ... as the floor flexes from your weight, the tin pops.

Ours has had a little flex since day one, not more than a 1/2 inch, our closet wall ap front had the staple pop out issue, I fixed the wall myself, because Keystone said the wood was cut to large, (sure), I cut the bottom a little bit, then added a brown rubber section of wall base, it looks ok, the exterior molding the connects the side to the over hang part that has the pin box, moves when the rig is in the truck hitch, maybe 1/8 inch, take it off the truck, and back on the jacks, the gap closes, it hasn't been a problem so far.

Thanks for the re-assurrance dieselguy. I had the same thought. I spoke with Keystone C.S. and they noted it for when I take it in at the end of November to have it serviced.

I measured the flex at the pin box. Top of the box to the bottom of the fiberglass shell. Then set it on the TV and took another measurement.

We noticed frame flex on our 2006 Montana 3400RL where the side panel meets the trim in the overhang area in front to the master bedroom. To make a short story out of a real mess several aluminum welds had broken, and had to be rewelded and the frame structure was reinforced.

That's where your going to see it. Either it will separate from the trim on the overhang or damage closets or both.
