When I was buying my hitch I spoke to PullRite and told them I wanted a hitch which would eventually be used to pull a 5er in the 15 to 16,000# range. They told me if I wouldn't be exceeding 16,000# I should buy that size. The larger size would just be more weight to carry and more money. I purchased the Superglide 16K slider. I was considering moving up to the 3400RL but just saw the new 3402RL and that is now in our plans for the future.

See our signature. We like the removable rails to clear the bed and, with the eight-foot bed, we don't need a slider.
We cleared the bed to haul a load of gravel - the only time I've seen the duallies squat!
