OUTBACK Australia Orsman Gorge

Went on a Photo shoot with the camera club.
This is from one of the watering holes about 85 miles from Alice Springs.

john,

That is one really good picture! You must be having so much fun!

I never had much interest in Australia until I read Bill Bryson's, "In A Sun Burned Couuntry" and then I thought, WOW! What an interesting place! There are so many things that can kill you. Just kidding.

Thanks for the shot. It's just a reminder that there are so many wonderful places just tucked away waiting to be discovered.

John, I always look for your posts with interest. We spent Christmas of 2000 in Adelaide with friends who live there. After Christmas we drove along the Great Ocean Road on a four night trip to Sidney where we spent New Year's eve and several days before flying home.

The next Spring, our friends visited us here in East Texas, and are coming back in October of this year. He and I talk almost every day (Good Morning from him, the next day, on my evening). We've used several programs, but now find Skype the best. We even have video!

Enjoyed your photo. We did not get to the Outback as our time was spent with our hosts.

Great picture.
I know it's a big country, but 85 miles to water? lol
