"Five Minute Mod"

I doubt seriously if I’m the first to do this but I’ve always wanted a handle for the inside of the door ever since we got out first Montana. I had been using a cheap suction cup handle for the shower and it just didn’t get it. I looked in the health dept. at Wal-Mart and purchased this handle for about $7.00. I placed it where I wanted it and it hasn’t come off since. It only takes about 5 minutes to get it in position and on the door. I saw a similar one at an RV store and it was about double the price. Just thought I’d pass it on.

John got me one of those for our house when I had my hip replacement surgeries last year. Just so you know, it may fall off every few months or so. We came home from a trip in May and it was on the shower floor. Then last week I heard a crash in the bathroom and it had fallen down again. If you're not full-timing you might want to take it down for storage.

They make a soap dish suction fixture also. I had my doubts that it would stay attached, but it proved me wrong. I don't have to put the soap away any more and it lasts a lot longer as it doesn't sit in water.

Great idea! Now if I can just find a door handle for the screen door so my 6 year old can close it without grabbing stuff he shouldn't.

BusyCarol--here ya go(see link below)....they also sale various screen guards to keeps little hands or dogs or dumb husbands from pushing on the screen to open the door. .......On another note I bought a soap dish that is a clear plastic V shape thing that fits any bar of soap and can be left in it while traveling. It attaches with the 3M tape stuff so it don't come loose. Got it at Walmart or Camping World not sure. Now if I can just find something to hold shampoo/conditioner and not let them end up on the floor while traveling that would be great.

Thanks for the link. I ordered one of them for the screen door as well.
I also ordered a door latch opener.

I made a door latch opener for our previous Montana using a bicycle spoke witch worked well. However, since I have to re-install another one for this Montana I decided I like the looks of this latch a lot better so I'm going to try it.
