New heavy duty Ford

Has anybody heard the ford heavy duty class pickup will have installed at the factory, in the under carrage and frame work the mounting for the Goose neck Ball, and the reese hitch, the one that just drops into the 4 holes and is locked in under the bed of the truck, all a person has to buy is the upper rails or table section or the ball for the goose neck hitch.
That will be so nice if true, a person can just pull his table out of his old truck and drop it in the new one and drive off the lot with his monty.

Saw the truck fitted for it, but not the hitch or ball. The bed of the new F350 King Ranch dually with factory sprayed in bedliner at the dealer had four small plugs in the bed where the hitch would sit and a larger round plug in the center approximately over the axle where the gooseneck ball would be. Mighty fine looking truck.

Great idea, but if you already have your hitch it does you no good. It takes a Reese hitch that pins to the frame. Mine did not have that option on it, but I didn't need it so that's OK, but Ford comes up with a great idea again.

I have it and it is great, just dropped in a Resse Elite 18K, turned 4 handles and was ready to go. It also has a built in 7 pin plug. The built in brake controler has an option of either electric or electric over hydraulic.

Don, seems like I saw somewhere that the new Dodge does offer that. But my memory has failed me before so I'd have to go looking to verify that.
