We have a 2009 3465SA with the original Toshiba flat screen in the living room over the fireplace. It has an HDMI port, so we just take our Amazon Fire TV Stick and use it. Does everything a smart TV will do and more. We do have a Vizio smart TV in the bedroom, but we use the Fire TV stick there as well. I replaced the old bedroom CRT TV with the flat screen Vizio. So much lighter and gives us more storage room behind it.

We went with a Vizio smart tv. We have had a Vizio for about 15 years. The first 50 inch one in house weighed about 125 lbs. They are now about 25lbs. I just measured the opening in cabinet and bought tv to fit. We have had the best luck and picture with the Vizio's. On one i had to buy a swing mount, but the side i bolted it to was hidden so nothing showed. Good Luck and Happy Trails

I read an article in Cnet once that recommended buying a "dumb" tv and using a fire stick or Roku to make it smart. The processors are faster in the sticks and they update better. I have a smart tv in my home that is about 8 years old and most new apps aren't available even after running update, so I use a Fire stick instead.

Many years ago I replaced the bedroom CRT with a flat screen. I mounted the flat screen on the wall between the closet and the window. Then filled the hole in the cabinet door with plastic. Also reversed the hinges so the cabinet door opens more comfortably.

Actually, as I remember, I just turned the cabinet door up side down and relocated the closer. Can't see it right now so my questionable memory is sharing this.

I have a 2016 that came with a 50 inch TV. When I crushed it with a slide retraction I replaced it with a Samsung 54 inch Smart TV from Best Buy. I also had to replace the flimsy factory bracket and cut a little wood. I put a Sharp smart TV in the bedroom and replaced the factory air antenna with an amplified one that works. I also got a great router and mostly used cell phone for internet when I full timed.
