going from San Antonio, Tx to Cleveland, TN

2007 3400RL. Next February we are having another grandson born in Cleveland, TN. We hoped to travel there this fall, but at ages 72 health problems preclude that. DW will want to go and stay for 3 months (or more) to help out (as usual for her .) I am OK with leaving our stick and brick for two months but not longer for many reasons. My plan - fly her out a week before delivery, then after she is there for a couple of weeks and things settle down I travel with our dog, cat, and the Monte out there and stay for up to two months. That way I get to see our current grandson there (two years old in November and the apple of my eye) and I get to hold my new grandson. I would greatly appreciate routes to take (I prefer Interstates) and any campgrounds. I hope to make the trip in two days, and since i would be traveling solo in the Monte for the first time ever I need a campground that will have a staff member to help me park. TIA.

On Edit: I should have added - I would want full hookups at any CG to include 50 amps and sewer.

This is the route I would take (screen shot below).

This route will take you off interstates at Waco…Hwy 31 to Tyler…but 31 is not bad EXCEPT…
DO NOT TAKE THE “NEW” loop around Corsicana…go thru town!
The loop (built in 2020-2021) has some serious heave problems…the worst I have ever driven on. I think TXDot is planning to rebuild the road soon. Google also routed thru Houston on IH10 but I would not pick that route.

Of course Googles time estimate of about 16 hrs (1036 miles) is for a car going 75 mph…not a truck and a Monte going 60 mph and stopping for frequent potti breaks for multiple bladders. It would be a good 20 to 24 hours for me and my truck load of tiny-weeny bladders (mine included). How many hours do you plan to drive with the pets before stopping for the night?

To follow up on this with your request for suggested stops - here is what I would suggest…

Day 1 - San Antonio to Tyler - 330 miles - probably 7-8 hrs for me.
I would take SH130 all the way to Georgetown because IH35 traffic to Georgetown is bad no matter what time of day.
Debbie and I are from Tyler area (Debbie grew up in Tyler and I grew up in Henderson).
I noticed a new RV Park we intend to try out next time we go to Tyler called Field of Dreams RV Resort. I would get a pull-thru site…$45.

Day 2 - Tyler to Meridian MS - this is a long day - 420 miles
Stay at the East Meridian KOA in a pull thru.
…or if you want a shorter day 2 by 150 miles less - stay at the Ameristar Casino RV Park in Vicksburg. All sites are pull thru. We stayed there in 2021. I did not see too many other possibilities between Vicksburg and Meridian...so choose your poison - long driving day or short driving day.

Day 3 - Meridian KOA to the Cleveland TN KOA - 307 miles. If you drive from the Ameristar Casino - day 3 will be a 450 mile day.

In 2021 - IH20 around Shreveport was rough, but I thought I20 across Louisiana was not that bad. We took the loop around Birmingham AL and it was not too bad.

Let me say this again...DO NOT TAKE THE LOOP AROUND CORSICANA TX!!! Worst highway I have ever been on!
