Shower Door Track

Any suggestions on how to clean the 3 door track for the shower? We have a 23 Montana 3931.

+1 on the foam paint brushes. Also have used a small sponge with slits cut into to fit over the track dividers.

Kitchen green scrubbie pads. Also a long brissled brush.

Another +1 for the foam brushes. They work well and are cheap. Used to get a bag of 10 or more from the "Dollar" store. Now I guess it's the "Dollar and a half" store.

Sponges

I bought a 4-pack of plain old cheap kitchen sponges to clean/remove water from our 3-door shower track. I kind of 'squeegee' the water along so it goes out the weep holes and into the shower. But I really like the idea of using paint sponges, too! I hate to let the water just stand in the tracks. Seems like a leak waiting to happen.

Take them out and replace them with sliding glass doors.

We removed our track because we had mildew or mold coming out from under it. After we removed the bottom track, we discovered it wasn't sealed so water could run out the end and collect under the track. We cleaned the track and the fiberglass then reinstalled it. After it was installed, we used silicone caulk to seal the ends and on the inside and outside where the track meets the fiberglass.
We dry and clean the track after a shower after each shower using rags to soak up the excess water. We then place a rotating fan inside the shower to dry the walls, glass, and tracks.
Eventually we will replace this track with something else.

The other posted solutions work... however, we removed the track and the doors. Replaced them with shower curtain. Easier to clean. 50 lbs of weight removed from trailer. Less ducking and more room to get in and out of shower. YMMV.

I found a three-prong tool at Lowe’s, that looks like it was made just for this job! It has a removable microfiber cover that can be washed in the washing machine. I use it to clean and dry the track, squeezing out the microfiber several times while drying the track.
