The power cord that does nothing

I have a 2018 3731FL. The compartment that hold the outside TV has a standard 110 plug with two inlets. One apparently for the TV, yet there is a cord plugged into the other which runs back into the slide that houses the kitchen table. I at first assumed it provided power for the lights in the slide or provided power to the 110 outlets. I have unplug the line and everthing in the camper continues to run. Any idea to what it is providing power?
