Ames, Iowa
We will be traveling from Delaware to Ames, Iowa. Our plan is to leave here on Monday the 25th of May and drive to my parents in Ohio. Stay overnight and then finish the day in Ames. We'll be staying in a smaller park called Twin Anchors outside of Ames. My daughter will be competing in the Odyssey of the Mind World Finals at the university. We'll be there until Sunday mornig when we plan on heading east back to Ohio. Again staying overnight and then back to Delaware.
We'll be in the Nekkid Montana. Kinda hard to miss, no graphics just the shadow of them. I figure we'll take I-70 most of the way out and back.
Stop in or wave...

Since I'm an "old" Iowan, I hope you use I-80.

I hope you enjoyed the trip and your daughter did well. We stayed at Twin Anchors once several years ago but I can't remember much about it. One of my sisters, and her family, live in Ames. Another time we stayed at Story City. Whispering Oaks RV Park.

Well we're here! All is going well. Twin Anchors seems to be an ok place. They have a SOB dealership right next door, so if we needed anything it is real convenient. We'll be heading back east Sunday morning. Definitely not going back the way we came.......

I'm going to take a look today before we decide. Thanks for the information about 280. I made the mistake of blindly following the GPS directions. Thanks again.
