Rain, rain and more rain!
We're at a CG near Catskill, NY for a few days. Last night I seriously thought we'd be finding out if Montanas can float. Had over 4" in a series of thunder storms and just plain downpours! No leaks I've been able to find, but both dogs were hiding in their 'cave' places. Going up to Sacketts Harbor tomorrow AM. Hopefully it'll be dry there.

We just got back from Pa and it was the same there. Rained the whole week and a half we were there and on day we got 4 inches over note. They had some serious flooding. Now we are home in Texas where we had a drought going on and now we had flood watches lol lol ....oh well..we did have a small leak at the bottom of our big slide. I think it is because the slide is a little out of whack and needs adjusted.

Last summer we had a slight leak on our dining room slide. Our units a 2009 and we had the seal under the slide replaced and it stopped the leak. The rubber on the seal gets old and less flexible. Maybe something you might want to check. Ours leaked on the corner of the slide where the carpet was. The tires when running through water throw up the water and hits that seal.

Ours is at the lower corner too but when sitting with the slide out. That end doesn't go out as tight as the other end. Gotta take it in to get adjusted...

We pulled the Montana all the way out to Seattle and never had a drop of rain hit us! Of course we bragged about the great weather....then started heading back....rain one of the two days in Yellowstone....rain part of both days in Tetons....but looks like it may clear up for the next few days. I probably should just keep my mouth shut from now on.....ooppps.

We are sitting in Gillette, WY with thunder storms, lighting, tornado warnings boy this is pretty bad. The dogs are going crazy because of the lightning and thunder. It's about 6:30 p.m. and now it is becoming a little more quite. We are leaving tomorrow for Custer, SD I hope the weather is better there.
