Quodos to Cequent/Bulldog customer service!
Last year I had landing gear failure on first one leg and before I could figure out exactly what was going on, the other one too. Since 1) I had no idea how much repairs would cost, and 2) I really hated the single motor setup anyway, I opted to put in a new two motor Bulldog system (7k lift, 10k static per leg). They were great on three outings including our 9 week venture to the rally and the southwest. The last overnight on the way home, one leg wouldn't lower. When we got home, that leg wouldn't even click. Sent an email off to customer service and got a response the same day. I had to pull the leg off to get part numbers as they were ready to send me a new inner tube right away. After getting it off, I found the inner was loose, although I couldn't turn the shaft at all. They told me how to take the assembly apart, and I found the leg assembly was fine. Took the transmission off the motor and found the motor was SERIOUSLY fried (breaker had never tripped though). Although the old transmission was OK, they FEDEXed a new motor/transmission assembly AND a replacement manual cranking adapter (I'd pretty much sheared the old one trying to make things move). Package arrived, leg reassembled and Monty has it's own feet again (better than jack stands anyday!).
