Demco Autoslide Maintenance

We have a 1 year old Demco Autoslide hitch and we're trying to figure out what maintenance needs to be performed on the hitch. I've been on the Demco site and searched the forum, but can't find anything regarding maintenance for this hitch. I can see some form of bearings in there, so assuming the need some lubrication or something?

I have the same hitch. There really isn't any maintenance to do other then check all the bolts and adjust the capture rails. You can use some silicon based lubricant on the pivot mechanism and the plate itself. I found this vid on YouTube. It shows the gears underneath. You can see they have red lithium grease on them. Not an easy task to lube them.My truck has a Retrax electric bed cover so the hitch is protected from dust and rain when not in use.
