Flex Armor appears to me like it could be a rhino like product it adds about 400lbs to the trailer that was one factor why I chose Rv Armor and you have to take your trailer to there shop do have it done

My question is, what if you have to replace or install something on your roof like an ac unit or replace a broken sky light?

to answer those questions is they cover up to the a/c seals so you can remove and replace a/c units as needed as far as a broken sky light or vent they leave you a customer care kit for minor repairs and sealing when you have a sky light replaced or vent ect, you call and they will schedule a tech to come and make a permanent seal at the repaired spot.
Hope this info helps if not feel free to call RvArmor anytime at 855-782-7667

The Flex Armor (RVRoof.com) said it would add about 170 lbs. for my 41 foot 3791RD. Where did you get 400 lbs?

I do not remember where in my research I read that but did not ever talk to them sorry for the wrong info the only reason i did go with Rv Armor was for the warranty they have also did not have to go to there shop to have done and they have a very rating overall

No worries. I am very conscious of adding weight to the trailer and keeping things balanced. We have the 3791RD with the pull out "garage" tray in the back. It would be very easy to overload the trailer with so much storage, so I am over careful about the weight.
How thick is the coating? How was the coating applied? Did they remove AC units, etc to seal everything tightly? Since I'm only about an hour drive from the shop, I guess going there doesn't bother me too much, but I do want to get the best bang for my buck and the warranty is important to me too.

Thanks, BigFrank. I went back and re read all the previous posts. You're not too far from me. Maybe I can get a quote from RV Armor when this virus thing calms down. I'm getting too old and health issues prevent me from climbing on the roof anymore. I really would love to have a one and done solution.
