Mrs sailer operation

Sharon had her surgery today and it was 90 min . They put in 2 leads with 12 stimulators so she can regulate the pain up or down as needed. We are home now and she is resting. We want to thank all for the prayers and good help. Now Sharon can get her life back and be able to walk again. We have to see the doc in 2 days to check the bandage and then next week she gets her staples out. This has been a very big item in her life to try to get some life back.
Thank you all for the prayers and hugs

Good news, John! It's been about a month since I was last on MOC so am late posting. John, could you give us an update as to how she's doing now that it's been awhile since the surgery? If you posted in a later thread, never mind.. I'll find it shortly.

Well Steve; Sharon has a doc apt on Friday and we hope he gives us the go ahead we can travel in the states. The stimulator is to take away pain in any part of the body it is put in for but there are always ups and downs. Today was a down as pain was back but maybe tomorrow it will be gone. Its better than a pain pump or just pain pills every 4 to 6 hrs and it is getting very hard to get pain meds as you have to see a doc every 30 days as that is all they can prescribe and now with Obama care who knows as at 75 they consider you are no longer useful . This has been a long time coming and lots of meds and shots in the back before they would even consider her a candite, Its not like I want it so give it to me .
