MN North Shore

Planning on a family trip up the MN North Shore and are looking for some good suggestions for good clean RV parks along the way North of Duluth. Planning on stopping at the KOA by Duluth first or last and need a secondary campground for the opposite time span. Pool is a necessity and 50 amp service would be beneficial. Open for suggestions and experiences. Thank you in advance!

You will have a hard time finding the pools around the North Shore.. I lived in Duluth most of my life and haven't found one yet.. There is a real nice place on the shores of Lake Superior in Two Harbors called Burlington Campgrounds. Reservations are a must but no pool. It is not often that you would need 50amp on the lake but there is always that one day a year that it gets pretty hot. Don't know how far up the shore you plan on going but I think there is a nice campground in Grand Marais..

Enjoy one of the most beautiful places in the North..

Thank you, need to run both A/C units to keep the "white noise" going at night. Pool is for the women in our group, lakes not appreciated except for sightseeing!
