Durango, Colorado--Any Haze?
We are in Vernal, Utah, and will be heading to the Durango area on Wednesday. Is there smoky haze around? The recent fires in Utah have caused some smoke to head southwest toward Durango. Also, I hope it is cooler!

We get haze as far east as Denver, so I’m sure there’s some in Durango.

I will answer my own question! No haze at Blue Spruce RV Park on Lake Vallecito. But the Lake is really low. Having a great time in the cool weather.

Blue Spruce is a great place. ( The last great place!) Enjoy your stay.
Friends of ours are there now, so if you run into George and Darlene Morris, tell ‘em hi from Gene and Patti.

We have haze from the BC fires here in western Va. That is what the meteorologist says.

For the last week we have been able to watch the sun go down like we were looking thru dark glasses in Kansas. It's not much on the ground but there is enough in the air to cause that effect and see it on radar.

You have probably already passed through, but yes there is haze some days. Some days are clear, others you can't see the mountains only a few miles away. The Plateau fire near Dolores is causing a lot of it.

A bad year for the west:
