Front Cap Protection

I recently saw and spoke with another Montana couple, who are using the "Bugg Banner" to protect the front cap of their trailer while on the road. Anybody else using this? Any issues? I spend a lot of time cleaning my rig spotless only to have it destroyed by bugs when I arrive at my destination.

I find it pretty easy to clean the front cap as part of my setup ( Five minutes with a long handled squeegee). For us, easier than putting on/taking off and still having to scrub the cover. Am sure some folks will like, we pass. Only issue I can think of is rubbing on the gel oat and decals. Common on Class A’s, have seen paint damage as a result.

The company says it protects the gel coat from the bugs impacting at speed, which over time pits the gel coat and causes damage to the stickers. When dirty it just gets thrown in the wash.

We are going to clean off bugs one way or another. I thought the bug banner would be good to prevent sun fading. Otherwise my best defense has been frequent waxing/spritzing/washing.

Got it, use it, love it. Don’t need to clean where the banner is. When it rains and I have it on it basically washes it. Takes maybe 2 minutes to put up and take down. I can reach the rest of the bugs from the ground. Easy.

I love it. Nothing is worse than cleaning the front cap only to have it all messed up by the time you get to your location. Gonna order mine tomorrow.

Sweet ! If you want the USMC flag let me know. You’re not to far from me my mom can do it, if you’re going to go that route...

Tony, I talked to Preston yesterday and I'm all set. He even gave me a Vet discount and it's already being shipped. Looking forward to getting it.

LMAO Semper fi. He does sell them with a graphic of the flag. I felt having an actual flag was better. If you can’t find someone to do the sewing let me know. I can go to Pendleton get an official USMC flag and have my mom do her thing. Would need to ask about how much.... Semper fi.

Do you think, the sewing effected the integrity of the banner, if not, I can sew our Special Forces flag on my self
