Tire Wear at less than 5000 miles

Staying at a friends who is a mechanical type, and he checked our tires. The inside is badly worn. I did a search and see there have been some problems, but at this low a mileage. Any suggestions on how to deal with this. We are waiting for calls from 2 dealers, the one we bought from who is 300 miles away and the dealer here in Lethbridge ab. He also checked where the slides run and said they are not running true. Any suggestions would be welcome.

SMC,
Sorry to know you are having this problem. Sounds like the axles are out of alignment. You are doing the right thing by contacting the dealer for starters. You may have to call customer service at Keystone and / or the axle manufactuer...either Alko or Dexter.
Good luck!

Do a Forum Search for the tire problem info. All 4 tires? Then it is probably a camber problem and fairly easily solved (about $150 to "bend" the axles correctly). It is all in previous posts about the same problem...lots of info there.

Can't help you re the slides "not running true". Not exactly sure what that issue is all about from the description.

Recommend that you call Keystone for both issues to get them "on the record". Calling seem to work better than e-mail.

Hope it all works out for you.

SMC, can you tell us more about the slides not running true? Is the slide crooked when fully retracted, or maybe not fully retracting, or something else?
Thanks.
