Road safety
I mentioned some trucker road flares and safety triangles, here are pictures of them. I suggest everyone have some in the basement or truck for emergencies. The long burn time flares were purchased at a truck stop. I made the spike tool from a blower shaft and a concrete nail welded in the end. Use the tool to punch a hole for the road flare spike to fit in.

That will be on my to do list too...I currently just have a flashing lantern, but those items you have look like the right way to go. It would give motorists more of a heads up.
I would also add a flasher for the trailer to flash the lights when unhooked. I've seen automotive turn signal flashers used right in the bargeman connector.

Good counsel, Ozz, based on your roadside experience.

Good advice Ozz. Many states require RV to carry flares or warning triangles. I have never needed either one, but would prefer to use the triangles if possible, would hate to accidentally start a fire.

Do you need holes in the cube to get rid of the heat created by the flasher? Might keep from burning up the flasher.

Looks to me like the yard needs a little more water so you can mow it. Fulltimers don't do that. LOL

Being dumb but what is the 'Ozz cube' for; I see the flasher but how does it connect; what are paddles for on the side? (I know they are switches but for what?) (Curious minds want to know ) Thanks for filling in the voids between my ears that I seem to be experiencing at times.

skypilot, the Monte's tow vehicle's cord end (Bargeman) plugs into my 77 cent plastic box at the female Bargeman connector, the switches are for flash; clearance lights, flash brake lights and clearance lights on steady.
As Stiles eluded to, I was at the side of the road with no tow vehicle, thus no flashing lights on the Monte. Now I have the Ozz cube.
You can buy one from Wes Westhaver for a reasonable price, and I suggest everyone do so. In an emergency it can save a life as well as your rig.
Ozz
