Adjustable showerhead

I have a 2020 3813MS. There is an adjustable showerhead in the shower which allows you to adjust the height of showerhead. Since day one the showerhead will slide down the pole and turn by itself. It will not lock in place. Funny there is a button on the side of it to allow the adjustment but it will not stay in place. I took the rv back to dealership for other issues and included the shower in the complaint. They ordered a new replacement and it did same thing. Cannot be fixed. Anyone have this issue? Thanks.

Ours does the same thing. Wrapped a few layers of clear packaging tape around the pole and problem solved.

You could also use a hose clamp or a zip tie just below where you want it to stay.

The zip tie below the slider was probably our first mod😃

On our 3811, I mounted a separate holder for the shower head higher up on the wall so that I could actually get under the water. I’d take that silly slide bar out if it wasn’t for the holes that will be left.

Had the same problem. You tighten the knob but every time you adjusted the shower head it would loosen it and it would slide down.
Took it apart and rotated it to where when you pulled down on the shower head it would have a tendency to tighten the knob.
No more problems.

The nut on the end is a friction adjuster, just use that. It took me a few tries/fails before I figured it out too.

If you put a zip tie under it and pull it fairly tight at the height you want it, you'll still be able to slide the zip tie up or down with a little extra effort. Otherwise it will stay where you want it.

Thanks for that link, it's just what I've been looking for. DW loves the shower in the 5er and wants that same bar in our S&B at home. Have had a time finding one similar that was not priced out of sight.

this is what we have in our S&B. I'm sure it will work in the Monty too.
