TV Antenna Booster - 2016 3160RL
We just picked up our new Montana this past weekend and took it for a shakedown cruise at a local park. So far everything is working great and we really love the Montana. This thing has three tv's and I've ordered a satellite system for it. We have been using the external antenna this week and this has worked great as well. However I can't find the booster switch for the over the air antenna anywhere. I know it is supposed to have one somewhere. Any help would be appreciated.

On all of our Montana units, the booster is part of a wall receptical, either a 12 volt or coax connection. In two instances it was in a cabinet in the bedroom. On our 2015, it is behind the TV in the bedroom

Thanks Mike. I feel like such an idiot. It was located in the roof of the enclosure for the TV in the bedroom. I looked in there many times and just never saw it up there. The next question is also TV related. The TV in the bedroom has three coaxial outlets with one marked as satellite. It is hooked up to one which is the external antenna with the booster switch so the 3rd one I assume would be for cable. The TV in the living area and the TV in the slide on the outside only has one wall plate with two coaxial outlets. The TV's are hooked up to one which is the external antenna and the other one is labeled cable. The question is does the external antenna and cable share the same outlet? If so then the other one would be for satellite even though it is labeled cable. Is this correct or am I missing something? Thanks.

If I remember right from my walk thru, the TV antenna and cable share the same route and you have to have the booster off when using cable. Might be similar on the satellite.
How are you liking the 3160? We've enjoyed ours so far.

Never feel like an idiot. Happens to all of us. On our 2010 we had owned it for over two years before I discovered there was a wall switch to raise and lower the TV. Had thought the remote was the only way to operate it. On our 2015,the third coax feed is for dumping signal to the coax receptical in the DS storage compartment for use with an outside TV.

Don't feel bad as I looked at our booster a couple of times before I finaly saw the little LED light. Our unit is a 3160 also and I am planning to get a Trav'ler installed in ours so I am looking forward to seeing how yours turns out.
Congratulations on your new rig.

We have been out for four days so far. Temps have been as low as the mid to upper 20's at night and into the 40's and 50's during the day. The rig has performed flawlessly so far. We really like it.

In the entertainment cab on our model, the external sat connection in the convenience center goes to a dedicated connection for sat system, ie, the sat receiver. There is also a connection label that says cable, which is the cable/ant connection. John
