Hey guys, we joined the Keystone Family last June when we sold our 45ft Travel Supreme we lived in for 6 years around the country and got into a 5er and Dually config.

We have been enjoying our new setup in Michigan last summer/fall and are spending the winter in Tucson, AZ.

We plan on 5 weeks in MOAB waiting for our Yooper (UP of Michigan) spot to thaw out.

We finished up 20 years in the USAF 2 years ago and have a couple businesses (Headhunting/Recruiting) we run out of Rig.

We also have a Jeep that pulls a 20ft Winnebago Hike for the 2/3 day excursions and enlist our friends seasonally to join us (drive the smaller rig) on our migration adventures. We also rent the Hike on Outdoorsy in what ever area we are in.

I'm a DIY guy and hopefully can contribute to the community here with our issues, fixes, and mods that arise.

See you on the trail...

Welcome to the forum! Enjoy your new rig. Sorry we have thrown all this cold weather at you in Southern AZ. Hopefully it will warm up soon.

Welcome to the forums and sounds like you've got some really great things going on for you. The most important thing is, you sound like you are really enjoying this RV, traveling, vagabond lifestyle and it really works well for you!

Thank-you for your service. I did 6 years in the Army. Thought about making it a 20 year experience, but things turned sour and decided the lifestyle was not for me any more. That's when I truly realized how important is was to enjoy the job (work) you do because you spend too much of your life doing it. If you are not happy with it, the largest portion of your life is going to be just miserable. And life is just too short to be miserable. So, I got out when the going was good. And have no regrets ever since. The military needs good people in it, but it needs people who truly want to be there. When you feel it's no longer a match for you, it's time to exit. Your buddy's life depends on your dedication.

I continued in the ministry for several years after that (I was a minister before my military experience) and eventually left the church and as I sunk deeper and deeper into computer software testing. So, for about the last 30 years, that's what I've been doing. I retired this year, Jan 14. Life has been good.

So, keep doing what you are doing and enjoy life to the fullest. Enjoy that new Montana and enjoy the adventures. Happy camping!
