Releveling

How often do you have to relevel your rig? For me it seems to be about every 3-6 weeks for it to become noticeably unlevel. In colder weather it is closer to 3 weeks but in steady warm temps it can be 6 or even more weeks. Is this normal? I have 4 wood 2x12x12 jack blocks under each front jack and 3 under each of the mid and rear jacks.

Honestly, I used to be really active about checking level every month or so and correcting manually (because I have reservations about the auto-level feature taking forever to get it correct). These days I don't really re-level unless it gets really out of whack for some reason (rain, drying out, etc). That being said, I've also been in warm weather for a year now and haven't had to deal with cold. When I had a leak in my hydraulic jack I did notice I had to relevel a bit more often, but when I fixed that we didn't have those problems any longer.

My nose drops a couple inches every 2-3 months

If on concrete it doesn't change. On other surfaces as needed up to daily.

You must have a pretty long face with your nose dropping like that!

LCI tells us to do it once are twice a month to keep them healthy.

I have only stayed in one spot up to 6 months, and I never need to re-level.

About every 3weeks, but I have two hoses that are seeping fluid at the crimp. This is on list to fix when warm weather get back to us.

I’ve been in the same concrete site for about 9 months without issues. I periodically check say every 2 months however everything is level

I re-level only when it's really needs it. If parked on a solid surface, I never have to. If parked on a soft surface (sand, dirt, grass), I'll relevel every day if need be until things stop sinking.

Now, I did relevel mine just a couple days ago. It's been parked on our asphalt drive way since last November. No, it wasn't unlevel, I did it just to exercise the jacks.

By the way, mine are electric. They don't slip as there is no hydraulics. I understand sometimes with hydraulics slides and jacks will slip over time, and if there are any leaks, things move also.

I don't think there is a right or a wrong, or a specific time frame for doing anything on our RV's. It just, when things finally do need attention, don't put it off. Fix it, or straighten it up immediately so a small problem does not develop into a large problem later.
