This is what we did with our control panel door. Since we seem to access a lot of the breakers and controls all the time, we didn't want to have to keep opening the door. So, we cut a hole in the bottom half. The control panel is always accessible and the top half of the cabinet remains enclosed.

Anyone have problems with their black water valve leaking so when you unscrew the cap you always get crud on you!!
Had mine at Camping World for a month and they still say they can’t get parts!! Anyone know where I might could buy one and get it to them? Otherwise I’m going to pick up my camper and repair or get it replaced elsewhere.

Strange Camping World offers the replacement valve themselves.
https://www.campingworld.com/72quot%...B&gclsrc=aw.ds

But I doubt a new valve is needed. What is needed a an external gate valve on the outlet pipe. There is always residual "stuff" in the plumbing lines. Unless you jack up the front to drain the front tanks and lines completely, then jack the rear so as to do the same to the rear gally tank, there will be "stuff" left. Adding the gate valve stops the surprises when you remove the cap. Buy Valterra 3" RV Waste Dump Gate Valve w/Cap t from here or wherever. https://www.amazon.com/Valterra-Wast.../dp/B076FG17DZ

Leaking black water valve.

Thanks for suggestions! I ordered one this morning and will be picking up my RV at CW this week.
Very disappointed with Camping World’s inability to solve
My issue in a timely manner.
Thanks for y’all’s help.

Hi
who has replaced the TV in the 305RL?
Can you show how and what you did?

I am scratching my head and thinking of removing part of the front facia to accommodate a slightly bigger TV and a soundbar.

Thanks for brainstorming

Mike

I remounted the TV bracket so that the TV just clears the top of the cabinet. I now have a sound bar under the TV.

I've considered removing the TV and interior backer, installing a door with hinge at the top at the outer face of the cabinet, and mounting the TV to that. It would allow a larger TV (not much, but a little) and completely open the cabinet for better storage.

Moving the Furrion TV up a little to expose the soundbar more is my minimalist solution.
Good to hear that's not an issue.
I am running a Sonos Beam and it sounds so much better already.
Unfortunately the Furrion Remote does not talk to the Sonos.

Hence I am considering getting a "modern" TV.

Sadly, no, it won't. Just like home I now use 3 remotes in my 5er...TV, DVD, Sound Bar. For me it wasn't that big of a deal and I get a system that works. My TV is still Furrion but that will change if I rebuild the cabinet and upsize the TV. I figure I can get a 43" TV in that space by bringing the TV to outside the cabinet. That's about all that will fit between the fridge and the side of the slide.

Trying to get information from Suny07 regarding the picture you posted with the counter top extensions you installed. I would like to know were you got the counter top materials. Want to do the same thing in my Montana High Country.

Look at post #10 in this thread. He provides a link to Trekwood.com where he bought the matching solid surface piece.

Somehow I fail to see why this is 305RL exclusive.. This would apply to all RVs.. Not just Montana or the Model listed here...
